The top 5 finishers (all rounds played) who have not already qualified in QE1 will advance to the Club Championship Finals. The QE2 finalists are:

   Dennis Benjamin (5.0)
   Maneesh Apte (4.0)

Cash Prizes: 1st ($20) / 2nd ($15) / 3rd ($10)
   1-2 Brian Thompson ($17.50)
   1-2 Jason Bjorgaard ($17.50)
   3rd Alex Braun ($10.00)
 

One round will be scheduled per week. All games must be contested at the normal meeting of the ChessNuts Chess Club. Entrants will be permitted to play one additional round per week to allow for flexible scheduling. Missed games will be counted as forfeit losses if not completed during the next regular meeting of the ChessNuts Club, or special arrangement made with the TD. All games for the qualifying event must be completed on the final week of the schedule. Weeks that the ChessNuts Club does not meet are not counted toward the tournament schedule.
