Friday (April 30): Speed Chess Round Robin Tournament. EF: $1 (please bring correct change!) Winner takes all prize fund. NDCA membership required. Unrated.

Saturday & Sunday (May 1-2): North Dakota Championship Tournament. EF: $25. Juniors (18 and under) and Seniors (55 and older) receive a $5 discount. USCF and NDCA memberships required. USCF Rated.

Pairings: Six rounds. Computer generated pairings. USCF pairing rules applied in all rounds. One ½ point bye is allowed per player in rounds 1 thru 5 (notify the TD before the start of the first round.)

Prizes: Trophies and titles awarded to North Dakota residents : State Champion (1st Place), Runner-Up (2nd Place), Top Class A (1800-1999), Top Class B (1600-1799), Top Class C (1400-1599), Top Class D (1200-1399), Top Class E/UNR (1199 and under/UNR). Cash prizes based on entries (all players eligible).

    • 7:30pm - Speed Chess Tournament Begins
  • Saturday, May 1st:
    • 8:00am - Registration Opens for Championship Event
    • 9:00am - Registration Closes
    • 9:30am - Tournament Announcements
    • 10:00am - Round 1 (TC Game/60)
    • 1:00pm - Round 2 (TC Game/60)
    • 4:00pm - Round 3 (TC Game/90)
    • 8:00pm - Round 4 (TC Game/120)
  • Sunday, May 2nd:
    • 8:00am - NDCA Membership Meeting (Election of Officers)
    • 9:00am - Round 5 (TC Game/120)
    • 2:00pm - Round 6 (TC Game/120) - May start early, if possible.
    • 6:00pm - Award and Trophy Presentations - May start early, if possible.
