The ChessNuts Chess Club meets on Friday nights at the downtown Fargo Subway from 8:00pm until midnight. Players are welcome to arrive later or leave earlier due to our informal and flexible meeting format. There are no fees or dues of any kind. Club ratings are generated based on Game/15 results. Players of all levels and ages are welcome. Tables are available for speed chess, PlunderChess™, and bughouse. For players new to chess, instruction can be found in all aspects of the game including strategy, tactics, common openings, endgame themes, the use of a chess clock, and more. For more experienced players, our club features members with a wide range of abilities and interests enabling all players to find a competitive and enjoyable range of opponents.
